La Croix de Carbonnieux 2016 is a white wine which pays homage to the Benedictine monks of the Sainte Croix abbey in Bordeaux. These monks were in the 13th and 18th century owners of Château Carbonnieux, the property where this white Bordeaux wine is produced. At the time, the estate's wine enjoyed international renown and was synonymous with modernity on the palate. It is this whole story that marks this second wine made like a grand cru .

The Croix de Carbonnieux 2016 is above all a pleasure wine whose vines of fifteen years are established on 4 hectares. The blend is made from 65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Sémillon . The first brings freshness and an aromatic richness while the second offers roundness and volume in the mouth. Aging was carried out for 9 months in barrels, 25% of which were new. The wine has also been beaten several times to gain momentum.

The Croix de Carbonnieux Blanc has a pale yellow robe and a nose imbued with the freshness of exotic fruits and grapefruit. This Epicurean wine is tasted at a temperature between 12 and 14 ° C and is accompanied by fish or seafood.
