Jardins Secrets Les Sommets Malbec 2016 is a wine from France made from 100% malbec. This red grape produces colorful and tannic wines. The vineyards of the estate offer quality wines while enhancing the originality of the Languedoc terroir. Indeed, the grapes grew on clay-limestone soil near Montpellier and were then harvested when overripe (the equivalent of a late harvest). This method of cultivation coupled with traditional vinification (including temperature control and long vatting) has enabled the winemaker to choose to stop fermentation to conserve the residual sugars.
Jardins Secrets Les Sommets Malbec 2016 offers very classic Malbec aromas, that is to say that it has a very fruity appearance on the nose. All its intensity and complexity are characterized by notes of red and black fruits but also of undergrowth. The attack on the palate seems a little sweet, the texture is rounded and the tannins are soft. All this gives overall a generous, delicious and powerful mouth. This fiery red wine lends itself very well to gourmet meals such as roasted and grilled meats, for example. It can also accompany spicy cuisines or tapas.
Succumb to its captivating black color with purplish reflections!
