PRESENTATION: The Salice de Salentino is an appellation of Puglia, named after the village Salentino located about 10 km west of Lecce in the middle of the Salento peninsula. It is the largest appellation in Puglia, with the Negroamaro grape variety playing the leading role. The grapes are lightly pressed, then the juice is immediately refrigerated. The high-quality must is prepared with a yeast selected for fermentation lasting from 14 to 18 days.
Aging in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks between 18 ° & 20 ° C
TASTING NOTES :
Colour : Intense garnet red, very brilliant.
Nose: Nose with aromas of sun-drenched fruit (dried prunes), black cherries and spicy notes.
Palate: Generous and complex, this wine has an excellent structure but also a lot of freshness. The finish is just as pleasant.
