Italian Red Wine, Rosso PGI Puglia
PRESENTATION :
Our products come to life on the slopes of an ancient volcano, Monte Amiata. We are committed to giving back to nature what it gives us with each harvest. The reason is to protect the treasure of typical biodiversity and natural balance.
Vineyard: The vineyard covers 18 hectares divided between sangiovese, merlot and cabernet sauvignon. At an altitude of between 250 and 450 metres.
Harvest : Manual, then the grapes are destemmed.
Long maceration : Fermentation is carried out on the skins for about 10-15 days at controlled temperature.
Aging: Each grape variety is raised separately in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, specially designed for the delicate extraction of tannin and color. At the end of the aging, the wines are filtered, bottled and stored so that they can continue to age.
TASTING NOTES:
Color: The color is intense ruby red.
Nose: A wonderful bouquet, floral aroma and hints of violet.
Palate: The wine is fruity with notes of fresh fruit just picked. On the palate, this wine reveals a lot of freshness and minerality.
