French Red wine, AOC Corbières
Château Bel Evêque is a red wine from the 2016 vintage, the grapes of which are produced from a qualified holding as part of sustainable agriculture. It has the Corbières appellation of origin, which guarantees you a wine rich in the many facets of the terroir of the Corbières mountains. In this arid region with clay and limestone soil, the grapes were harvested manually. 40% mourvèdre, 30% syrah, 20% grenache and 10% carignan form the composition of this wine. The winemaker also chose to opt for a long maceration as well as for aging in barrels.
Château Bel Evêque has a deep, warm purple robe. On the nose, it is a mixture of notes of black truffle, licorice, garrigue plants and resin which harmonizes with a delicate woodiness. On the palate, it is a nice sweetness and a great quality of silky tannins that we discover. Added to this, fat and a full and dense finish.
The tasting is done immediately or after 12 to 15 years of aging. This wine is ideally served at a temperature between 17 and 18 ° C and is accompanied by red meats or chocolate.
