French Red Wine from the Bordeaux region, AOC Pomerol year 2014
Red wine from France, Bordeaux region - Haut-Médoc - 3rd Grand Cru Classé - Vintage 2015
Château La Lagune 2015 is a red wine classified 3rd Grand Cru of Bordeaux. It was produced on the Haut-Médoc appellation and is the result of the meticulous work of a young oenologist, owner of the Château. The vineyard extends over 80 hectares and on a soil made up of gravelly hilltops. From the 2013 vintage onwards, the estate has embarked on an approach that is more respectful of the environment and the soil. This will enable the aromatic palette of the finished product to be enriched and improve the quality of the vintages, already excellent until now. That year, the mild weather allowed for a serene harvest with a good ripening of the berries. The blend blends 3 grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot.
This Château La Lagune 2015 presents to the eye a beautiful intense purple color. On the nose, the aromatic expression multiplies the qualifiers: pure, ample, fresh, fine and frank. You will be pleased to guess notes of blackcurrant, blackberries, vanilla and violet. On the palate, the attack is dynamic and the middle is both round and full of freshness. The tannic structure is silky, delicate and dense. The finish is complex and powerful which makes this Haut-Médoc a complete wine.
