Château Lagrange 2010 is a red wine from a terroir located on the Saint-Julien appellation. The vineyard of Château Lagrange extends over two hilltops of Günzian gravel accompanied by sand or ferruginous clay. The 118 hectares planted include one of the most emblematic grape varieties of the Médoc region: Cabernet Sauvignon. Merlot and Petit Verdot are also used to make red wines.

For this 2010 vintage, 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Merlot form a subtle marriage. The harvest was carried out manually late because of the dry climate. In any case, a rigorous selection of the bunches was carried out. Maturing was done in stainless steel vats.

Château Lagrange 2010 has an intense and deep red colour. On the nose, a sensation of freshness dominates the expression of fruit and vanilla notes. The attack on the palate is firm and the mid-palate reveals powerful, harmonious and smooth tannins. It is a generous, well rounded and fairly long Bordeaux red wine: both amateurs and regulars will be delighted.

This 2010 wine should be served at an ideal temperature of 17 - 18°C and can be enjoyed after a short stay in the cellar.
