Château la Dominique 2014 is a red wine that reflects all the typicity of the great terroir of Saint-Emilion. Once again this year, the vine has benefited from the know-how and rigour of the winemaker in order to obtain a wine that reveals the most beautiful expression of the fruit. This 2014 vintage is a blend of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc. It promises a beautiful maturity and concentration worthy of good vintages.
Château la Dominique is distinguished by its righteousness, imparted by silky but stretched tannins. At the heart of the property, the breeding and the assembly are done in the respect of the traditions while using the best of modern technologies. The harvest was done at maturity and manually while not distorting the balance of such an expressive terroir. The Fayat family practices sustainable agriculture and is proud to offer you a high quality Bordeaux red wine.
This red wine is balanced with a fruity heart of the most appreciable. It has good ageing potential for 5 to 10 years and should be served at a temperature of 18°C after decanting in a carafe for 2 to 3 hours. This will allow Château la Dominique to open up its full aromatic palette.
