Red wine from France, from the Barons de Rothschild estates, Vintage 2015
Moulin de Duhart Pauillac is a red wine from Château Duhart-Milon, whose property belongs to the Barons de Rothschild estates.
It is close to the characteristics of the great wine but with a lower ageing potential due to younger vines that have undergone a shorter maturing period. Indeed, the ageing period was ten months in two-year-old barrels. Amateurs will be able to appreciate it with dishes such as lamb, tender and fine game (doe or quail, for example), veal or beef.
Aromas of red fruits emerge and offer a rather expressive nose. The colour is purple and the mouth is round and fruity thanks to supple tannins. The grape varieties used to make this Moulin de Duhart Pauillac are none other than Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
The serving temperature should be between 16 and 18°C for optimal tasting. It is also recommended to leave the wine to decant for one hour before serving.
This 2015 vintage benefits from the Pauillac appellation and takes its name from an old mill located near the estate's vineyard. A stay in the cellar can allow this wine to reveal itself.
